Super 8 Motel Edmonton, Canada: Don’t Judge This Motel by its Cover
My friends stayed Super 8 Motel during their last trip to Edmonton, Canada because they wanted to save on motel expenses. They’d been getting unusually good reviews for a motel, so they decided to check it out until they learned about the free motel specials.Looking at it from the outside, the motel looked a bit scary. There were broken beer bottles on the parking lot and there was a “be careful of your belongings because of the constant break-ins” sign when they entered the lobby. They actually saw that sign in the elevator and in numerous other places in the motel too.
However, the signs were probably just an assurance that the motel owner cares for their safety as their experience staying the motel was the complete opposite of the first impression they had of it. The hotel staff was very cheerful and courteous when they approached the front desk, and it only took a few minutes for them to be escorted to their room.
The room was very big, quiet, and comfortable. My friends had a wonderful night’s sleep that evening. In the morning, they ate the complimentary continental breakfast in the motel dining room. The food was good, but nothing great. They really enjoyed everything and it all started in having their budget hotel coupons.

On the other hand, the pool they took a dip in afterward was awesome. There was even a waterslide that made them jealous of the little kids in the pool with them. Also, the location of the motel is very convenient as there are numerous good places to shop and eat nearby.The motel is only 20 minutes from the famous Edmonton Mall, where my friends did a lot of shopping. Other places to visit nearby are Valley Zoo and the Edmonton Art Gallery. My friends enjoyed their trip to Edmonton, Canada as much as they did their stay in the Super 8 Motel.
