Cheap motels are rare in New York so during our latest New York escapade, we decided to try Super 8 motels in Stamfort CT using a discounted motel reservations. This side of Connecticut is very near New York and if you have car, you can save a lot especially if you take advantage of the company's discounts. With Super 8 Motel coupons, we were able to get a decent room which was 40 minutes away from New York by car. We got the room for only $70 which was $30 less than the lowest priced budget motel in the area.That's about the good thing that we got from this Super 8 motel. If I were you, I suggest that you search for other Super 8 locations in New York or Connecticut. The room that they gave us was non-smoking but every inch of it even in the bathroom smelled of cigarette. The bed was very uncomfortable. The linens were so hard we woke up having scratches all over our forearms and faces.

This is the worst Super 8 motels in Stamford CT that I have stayed at. We arrived late at night and we had to shout at the top of our lungs for the receptionist because there was no one at the front desk. We were asked to wait for almost an hour because they had to prepare our room. We were very tired after our flight and we were expecting to get a nice rest before we tour New York but with the beds that they had, we woke up feeling more sore than the night before. If not for the exclusive coupons that we got, we would've made a refund request to the manager.We hope that the manager of Super 8 motels Stamfort CT will read this. Don't get us wrong. We love Super 8 and we always stayed at Super 8 motel locations every time we go on a vacation. But this location is just very dirty and not well-maintained. If not for these Super 8 motel coupon, we would've been really really angry at this motel.
